30 Day Wellness Challenge with Shakeology!
With summer fast approaching, and many of us dreading shedding the winter clothes and stepping out into summer fashion, I am reaching out to all my friends and offering you the opportunity to participate in a very effective wellness and weight loss challenge that I have put together. I have used this program on my clients and seen them lose anywhere from 5-10 lbs in their first month!
As a San Diego personal trainer, my soul goal is to help others achieve optimum health, and wellness in their life through incorporating fitness, and proper nutrition into their lives. I am bombarded with supplement sales people trying to sell me on their products. To my amazement I finally found a meal replacement drink that doesn’t have one thing I don’t like about it. I have tried Myoplex, Jay Robb, Advocare, Arbonne, Muscle Milk, etc. you name it, I’ve tried it; and never was happy enough to really endorse a product to my clients. That is until I was introduced to Shakeology. Poor nutrition can be a hindrance to weight loss success; it is for that very reason that I never underestimate the importance of eating healthy, eating often and in appropriate quantities to fuel your body while keeping you lean. Many people struggle with getting in a morning meal or afternoon snack which leads to cravings, overeating and a slowed metabolism. If you miss your morning meal, you will be in a caloric deficit all day causing you to be hungry later and often times, make unwise choices. In addition, eating first thing in the morning actually jump starts your metabolism for the rest of the day, so that you burn even more calories while preserving your lean muscle tissue. More muscle means more daily calorie burn – remember muscle is more metabolic than fat and other tissues in the body. On the same note, missing an afternoon snack can result in poor dinner choices and over eating late in the day. Since we don’t need as many calories for energy when going to bed we should eat less at the end of the day. If we eat too much before bed, our body will just store those unused calories as fat L. Stick with lean proteins and veggies for dinner and get more of your calories at the beginning of the day.
So how does Shakeology fit into the equation? For your other meals, you’ll receive a healthy eating menu and guidelines
Commit to 30 minutes of exercise daily at least 5 days per week
Cut out junk food, caffeine, soda & alcohol (it’s only 30 days, you can do it!!)
Take your weight, hip and waist measurements on May 9th and again on June 6th. I’ll send more information on how to take the measurements yourself.
** The person who has the biggest transformation in four weeks will WIN a $100 gift certificate to Macy’s!! Results will be based on a combination of weight and hip/waist measurements.
To get started:
1. Send me an email to let me know that you would like to enter the contest. Let me know by May 2nd if you are going to do it. You can always let me know later but I’d like to get an idea of how many people will be in the challenge and I’d like to get you the info you need before the end of the week. “Like” my page on Facebook, and post on the wall what your wellness goals are for 30 days, 3 months, and 6 months. Let’s support one another during this challenge!
2. Order your 30 day supply of Shakeology Shakes (There are Chocolate and Greenberry flavors). Be sure to order them by Tuesday May 3rd to ensure you get them delivered by next Monday when the challenge starts (or you might have to rush order or start a day late).
3. Once you have ordered the shakes, I’ll send you another email with more details about the contest and include the shake recipes and healthy eating guidelines, exercise tips, along with tools to help you take measurements, track your food and exercise.
