If you work with me as your coach, I will help you find manageable ways to incorporate exercise and healthy eating into your busy schedule. My professional knowledge and 15 years of experience allows me to customize a program to meet your individual needs. By building on my experience working with hundreds of clients over the years, I incorporate coaching techniques and workout programs that deliver results for my clients. In addition to effective cardiovascular and strength training workouts, the nutritional coaching provides a foundation for successful change and a path to optimal health.
My training methodology is focused on the individual and the promotion of exercise as a lifestyle choice. I believe a healthy body is achieved via a balance of five components: flexibility, cardiovascular exercise, proper nutrition, supplementation, and strength training. Working with individuals on their own personal pursuit of wellness, I focus on making it a manageable part of their everyday life.
In addition to my passion for coaching others I also enjoy the performing arts, running, hiking, weight training, snowboarding, and time spent with family and friends, achieving true balance in my own life with the same energy and discerning focus I share with my clients. In addition to this, I have trained for and completed half marathons and shorter 5k and 10ks, obstacle course races, as well as competing in figure competitions along with some of the nation’s top fitness models. I am always training to be a stronger, faster, and healthier athlete so that I can help my clients become the same.
I have been in practice for more than 15 years and my credentials include: personal training certifications from the Poliquin Institute, American Council on Exercise, the National Academy of Sports Medicine, Functional Movement Systems, and as a C.H.E.K. Holistic Lifestyle Coach, Precision Nutrition certification, in addition to a Bachelor’s of Science degree from the University of Colorado.
Growing up in Colorado Springs, Colorado, I developed a love for activity, exercise, and the outdoors at a young age. Because I enjoyed being active and loved the positive impact it had on my life I wanted to share that with others through a career as a personal trainer. It was after a few years of coaching clients in the gym that I realized nutrition and lifestyle play such a significant role in my clients overall health that I decided to incorporate this important piece in my coaching practice as well.
My clients come from all walks of life … competitive athletes, dancers, entrepreneurs, executives, licensed professionals, educators and students, retirees and stay-at-home parents…. and maybe you?
