My favorite accomplishment with Andrea’s help, instead of scheduling knee replacements in the fall of 2014, I went to the Grand Canyon with my family and did a 3 mile hike!!!!

I was using crutches, at times, to get around. I have severe arthritis of the knees and my doctor was looking to replace them in the fall/2014. I was completely crushed, as I had been athletic most of my life and due to the knees slowing me down drastically, I became over weight, tired and was taking 4 Aleve a day just to get around…a true let down at 50!
My doctor decided to try gel injections and told me to try and strengthen my knees and legs through exercise but how, I was in extreme pain. I could barely move after sitting for long periods and not to mention how long it took me to get out of bed in the morning or get down a flight of stairs (I would go down stairs backwards to lessen the pain). So I did my research and found Andrea. I can not believe the difference she made in my life in just 6 months. I would have never accomplished this without Andrea’s help, dedication and support.
I worked 3 times a week with Andrea. It was very difficult at times but she kept me motivated. And the best part was, every work out was different, you didn’t know what to expect and the hour went by fast. Within 3 months, I was no longer taking Aleve to relieve the pain. I was completely off it which was a huge success. And even better, I was able to add cardio (walks/elliptical) on my days off which I had not been able to do in over 6 months. Over the next 3 months, I continued to get stronger, thinner and pain free. If I had a choice, even though I was active my whole life with gyms and different types of physical activity, I would work out with Andrea every day. Why, what you are able to accomplish with her workouts…the change in my body with just 3 times per week blew me away. I used to work out every day to accomplish any changes. And what is also important, Andrea takes her job very seriously. She is truly dedicated to your success. She listens to your needs, adjusts workouts to your injuries & pain and keeps you on track. Also, I don’t like to diet because it makes me think of food even more and takes over you but Andrea knew how to work with me on that too. With her workouts, constant mentoring, nutritional ideas and understanding what worked for me, I accomplished losing 28 pounds over the time I had worked with her. I had set a goal of 25-30 pounds due to my knee issues and I accomplished it without ever feeling deprived of enjoying food!
To anyone out there pondering what your next body image or workout goal is, Andrea King Lane is your answer. Best choice I made and hope my wish of working out with her everyday comes true!”
